Works great! Better than built-in laptop audio!

Pros Higher output than many USB adapters, well-made, easy installation of software/drivers.
Cons You MAY have to reboot or reinstall if you change USB ports...so don't.
Recommended it? Yes

Not really sure why another reviewer was having problems with this unit, but I have none at all. It's true that you have to reinstall or reboot if you relocate it from one USB port to another, but this is true of many USB devices (including a couple WiFi adapters I have).

Pros Good sound, entertaining software, small size.
Cons It isn't designed to accommodate a full set of surround sound speakers.
Recommended it? Yes

Times have changed since a cassette player with detachable speakers and a box of tapes provided the only way to get portable music. It's hard to imagine how many boxes of music are now stored on my hard drive. You still have to get them out, and the Turtle Beach micro does a great job of... Read full review »

I am listening to it now, put into a USB slot, can connect headphone directly, or in my case hooked up to my 20yr old Kenwood receiver and listening to Bethovan now.

For the price, sound can not be beat, Excellent, either on a laptop or PC.
