Pros Good sound, low CPU utilization, ample software provided, good connectivity, PCI
Cons Could be cheaper, no 5.1 out

Pros Good sound for games and playback.
Cons Only way to record is using Line-In with an RCA to miniplug.

Why did I buy?
I wanted a cheap yet dependable card that could xfer 24-bit digital audio to my hard drive without data conversion. I wanted my 24-bit mixes from my recorder untouched as a bit-to-bit transfer.
