Cons Short USB and integrated cables. Buttons will not fuction with all players.

I just picked up a pair of Logitech V20 Notebook Speakers on a recent treasure hunt at our local Circuit City which is scheduled to close with the remaining outlets some time in March. Pros Small & portable with carrying case. Good option for travel speakers.

Cons Speaker wires not long enough. Sound output not good enough.

I didn't like the built-in speakers on my new 22" Sony Vaio Desk Top. So thought I'd try these V20's out.

Hook-up was easy just plugged into back USB port. No software adjustments required (in most cases). Nice easy to use & stable fold out speaker stands.

Those awful speakers that come with most computers tend to be tinny, horrible, underpowered and too small. If you're looking for an inexpensive upgrade to that awful junk that's typically shipped with new computers, you simply can't go wrong with a pair of Bose Companion II speakers.
