This CMXF Cat 5e unshielded (utp) cable is a high performance data communication cable suitable for 350MHz high-speed data applications, gigabit ethernet, fast ethernet and 155Mbps TP-PMD/CDDI. It has excellent attenuation and crosstalk characteristics and exceeds EIA/TIA 568 B.2-1 specification. This ethernet cable is designed for direct burial outdoor network installations and is approved by ETL to be type CMX. The wires are 24 awg in size and are made of solid bare (pure) copper conductors. All 4 pairs are easily identified by color stripes. The insulations are made of PE and the jacket is made of UV resistant LLDPE and the core of the cable is filled with waterproof gel. This cable is supplied in 1000 feet reel in box and sequential length markings are printed on the jacket.

What they do: A pair of Network splitters will enable you to utilize a single Cat 5E cable run (which would ordinarily only handle a single 10/100 Base Ethernet connection) for two 10/100 Base Ethernet connections for two computers to connect onto the network. Please note that this will require an extra Hub/Switch or Router port and two additional patch cables.What they Don't do: The Network Splitters will not create a new hub or router port. If you have a 4 Port router and need to get a 5th computer working than these splitters are not for you.
