3M(TM) Marine High Gloss Gelcoat Compound. 3M’s Marine “Better” gelcoat finishing compound. This paste compound is designed to quickly remove P800 dual action sand scratches or 1000 wet sanding scratches from production gelcoat. Contains no wax or silicone and leaves a high gloss finish with minimal swirl/wheel marks. It has a unique formulation that reduces slinging while buffing. Best results are obtained when used with a white 3M 100% wool compounding pad PN05703 or 05719) on a slow-speed polisher at 1500 — 2500 RPM. If necessary, follow with 3MM Finesse-ItM II Finishing Material (PN35928 or 35929) for a clean, high-gloss finish.
