Pros Slick pitcher/batter interface, tons of options.
Cons No two-player co-op
Recommended it? Yes

Back in the 16-bit days World Series Baseball for the Sega Genesis was widely accepted as one of the best baseball games out for any system. The series was revived on the Dreamcast with WSB2k1 and 2k2. 2k1 was panned by many mostly because defense was controlled by the computer. The player had no... Read full review »

Pros Beautiful graphics, great sound, tight gameplay, deep Franchise mode...shall I go on?
Cons Action Replays could've been done just a little better.
Recommended it? Yes

Last year was a bad year for me as far as baseball games are concerned. EA's Triple Play blew chunks, I wasn't too impressed with Acclaim's Jeter-fest All-Star Baseball 2003 and 3DO's High Heat was just a bit too involving and realistic than my lack of free time would allow.

Even worse,... Read full review »

Pros Great Franchise mode and tons of options.
Cons Hitting the Knuckleball and can only control 1 team in franchise mode.

World Series Baseball 2K3 is the best baseball game available on the market. It will blow your mind once you see how many options and how fun the game is to play. The franchise mode has so many options. You can only control 1 team which is the disappointing part if your friend also wants to play... Read full review »

Pros The most complete Baseball experience on a console.
Cons Misses a few "realism" factors.
Recommended it? Yes

Baseball sims are the only sports games I get all frothy at the mouth waiting for every year. Sure, the game is sometimes slow and critics complain about the devotion to statistics, lack of momentum, etc. but die hard fans are just that. And what makes the game great, strategy and number crunching,... Read full review »

Cons one player franchise mode, no jump button, ability to fire coaches
Recommended it? Yes

I want to start off by saying if anyone out there has thirty dollars to blow on any game, and you are a baseball fan, this is the game for you. I paid fifty dollars and would have paid more.
This is the best baseball game ever for many reasons. There are problems with it (will this next... Read full review »

Pros Franchise Mode is awesome. Games don't drag and are usually close scoring.
Cons No Double-Play Action, can't throw to cut off.
Recommended it? Yes

I recently got an Xbox and one of the first games I wanted to get was a baseball game so I could feed my need for my favourite sport. So I went online and I looked at many reviews for World Series Baseball, All-Star Baseball, and Triple Play. All the reviewers rated Triple Play to be crap so I... Read full review »
