Good thing do come in small packages

I purchased this Micro USB audio card as a secondary sound source for both my desktop PC and laptop for use with PCDJ software. I use the internal soundcard as a monitor and the Micro as a main hooked up to amp.
I also found that this USB audio card has much better sound than both my PC and laptop's internal soundcards. Odd thing is that its powered by a C-Media chip (based on the installed drivers). I never had much confidence in C-Media products (same brand of audio chip is in my laptop and desktop), but this has totally changed my perspective about them.
Its plays loud and clear thru my headphones and stereo amp. The S/PDIF optical digital audio output is a nice feature as well if you have the equipment to take advantage of it.
I would recommend the Micro as a easy and simple replacement or upgrade audio card for your PC or laptop. It is Mac OS X compatible, although some features are not available (see manufacturer's website for details - http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/micro/whatdoineed.aspx#MacUsers).
