Revolution is a topical liquid medication. Revolution is effective in preventing heartworm disease, killing fleas, treating and controlling ear mites and sarcoptic mites and controlling American dog tick infestations. Applied once a month at one spot on the skin (typically between the shoulders). It can be used for dogs and cats 6 weeks or older. A prescription is required.
