Looking at Sony SRS T-55/57? Don't! Get these!
I own more than a dozen portable/travel speakers, including some fairly expensive units, and these are the best speakers under $75. As a matter of fact, you can often find them for less than $20 (plus S&H) from on-line stores.

Great for the price
I was extremely pleased to learn that these speakers can be used both powered and *unpowered*. In fact, I use them mostly without the power (connected to my iPod), and get cubicle-filling sound. Best Choice for the Money
