Buy Lots Of White Vinegar
Bought the Mr. Coffee FTX49 12 cup coffee maker at Target. It was more expensive than some similar models and less than others. Great coffee, nice features.
I bought this coffeepot 2 years ago and I haven't had any issues with it at all. Its a fairly straightforward coffeepot with a few extras.
Timer function: You can program the coffeepot the night before so you can wake up to a freshly brewed pot of coffee without having to function first...

I'm getting a free replacement
This coffee pot worked fine the first 6 months I had it, then the plastic part on the pot started lifting up.
