I got this when I bought my Acer laptop back in 2006. My laptop was aquanted with 1GB of RAM and back then that was good. After the shared video memory it is really 896mb. Anyways, Media Center is a prety good OS. There are some compatiblity issues with games with this OS. With media Center, its like having your own theatre if your monitors big enough. It include a party mode with different types of skins, Windows Dancer (a downloadable dancer will dance on the side of your screen while music plays, and Media Center, a way to organize pics, vids, and music.
This is a pretty good product for music and entertainment!
