Did you hear that? My computer plays music, sweet music with my Logitech X-120 Speakers!
Pros
They provide me with noise when desired from my computer.
Cons
May not be loud enough or clear enough for the average speaker seeker.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I find the Logitech X-120 Speakers adequate enough to fill my undemanding needs for computer noise.
My computer came with speakers, but the wire that connected them to my computer proved to be a delicacy too irresistible for the cats. I turned them on one day, and there was nothing. I went to check the connection and found the wire had been eaten in 2.
My requirements for replacement speakers was simple...they had to be CHEAP!! I see no point in spending a lot of money for something my cats may take a liking to destroying. When I saw the Logitech X-120 Speakers for $10.00, I snatched them up. When I plugged them into my computer, they adequately fulfilled my need for computer noise!
Now, I am in no way picky about the quality of sound coming out of my computer. Most of the time I silence my computer. When I do want noise from my computer, these speakers have made me quite happy. I am happy enough with the quality of sound so far as music goes. However, it isn't loud enough or clear enough to be played loud enough to say accompany me doing housework. The sound quality is just good enough to provide enjoyment.
The Logitech X-120 Speakers is a set of 2 speakers, that look very nice sitting on a desk. One of the Logitech X-120 Speakers houses the brains. There are 3 buttons/knobs on the front of this speaker. One is the treble/base, one is power, and the other is volume. Also on the front of this speaker is a green LED to let you know the speakers are turned on, as well as an earphone jack.
The Logitech X-120 Speakers are a very pretty darker gray, with the actual speaker being a little lighter in gray color. The speakers stand just shy of 8 inches tall, and are about 3 1/2 inches wide. Each speaker tapers in the back to a rounded shape.
The Logitech X-120 Speakers are powered by their own power cord. They are attached to my computer with a 1/8 inth stereo plug.
