Music to My Ears ... with Koss

Pass go, collect another $20, and buy a better pair of headphones

Disappointing sound and build quality
I recently picked up a pair of Koss KTXPRO1 as a backup pair of portable headphones, based mainly on their looks and low price, hoping for something as good as my Koss Portapro2 headphones (which are nearly identical to the Portapro, and can be taken as the same for purposes of comparison).

Good, if uncomfortable, sound quality for the price
Either there's something terribly wrong with Koss R&D or I'm rather unlucky. Regardless, I've yet to buy a single pair of Koss headphones that has been completely comfortable for extended use. Dont waste your money!
I purchased these headphones last week for my kids to use on their computer and the sound was SO low.
Plus after a few days of use they basically fell apart! one of the wires came loose and it was all downhill after that.
It pulled completely away from the headset in about 4 days.
