Handspring Visor Neo - Vanilla with Food Coloring
After writing a review on the Visor Pro, I couldn't help but think of Handspring's other latest entry into the market as more plain vanilla with food coloring in the Palm OS hardware world. This isn't to say that the Visor Neo is a bad device, but that the unit has you wondering if you've gone... Read full review »
The Neo is a good bargain PDA!
Bargain PDA's have the problem that other bargain electronics have: They lack high-end features and they become obsolete faster than more expensive models.
The Handspring Neo is a good way to work around some of these problems. At $200, it's not bargain-basement cheap, but it won't break...

Works Well for a Non-Techie
To be honest, I don't know much about the hows or whys that make my Handspring Visor Neo Personal Organizer work. I told my husband, who is very technical, that I wanted a PDA for Christmas and that's what I got. While I can't say much about the software or interfacing, I can give a pretty good... A great budget PDA.
This is my first real hands on experience with a PDA. Of course I've been to places like Best Buy to fiddle with PDAs, but I myself have never owned one. I've been wanting a PDA for a while now and it seemed like a nice gadget with some utility.
I've done some previous research on various...

Superb Entry Level Handheld
The Visor Deluxe and the Visor Neo are very similar. I purchased the Neo in a beautiful jewel-tone clear blue after my Deluxe bit the dust (I dropped it on a hard floor, and after that, the screen remained black).
I desperately needed a PDA after that incident, and I wanted one that would...

The Visor Neo - Nothing New About It
My first Palm unit was a Handspring Visor hand-me-down from my brother, a unit that he got for free after opening an account with an internet bank. I never thought the Visor would be anything more than a nifty little electronic toy that I would someday lose in the deep dark recesses of my desk... Read full review »
Visor Neo: Outgunned and underpowered!
Well, it has become clear that Handspring has all but abandoned their Visor line. Having not introduced any truly new units in almost 1.5 years in this line shows you that this may be one of the last Visors around. It sports the same familiar look as the original Visor did 3 years ago, and the same... Read full review »
The Visor Neo, your Palm based PDA for starters.
Overview
Since I?ve graduated from university, I had many phone numbers, addresses and appointments to keep, I find that I tend to miss appointments, forget phone numbers and addresses with paper written memos. To make matters worse, they tend to fill my pockets and sometimes, I?ve even...

A great low-end choice
The Handspring Neo is a low-end (by 2002 standards) black-and-white handheld that fills that market niche admirably. I bough my Neo to replace a lost Palm IIIe, and I didn't need or want anything fancy. I wanted enough space and speed for Pocket Quicken, a few text adventures and a diet-management... A 1990 Computer in the Palm of your Hand
I have a hard time keeping organized. I forget appointments, birthdays, and holidays. If it's not written down, I'll probably forget it. I've tried paper organizers, but they're always too bulky for practical use and become disorganized too easily (did I store that by company name or last name?)... Read full review »
