Cuisinart Coffee on Demand DCC-2000 12-Cup Coffee Maker

Let me start by saying I have a wonderful Jura Capresso Espresso Machine in my home. I have no need for a traditional coffee maker, or at least I didn't think I needed one…

We bought a beach house last year and I... Read full review »

BEST DRIP COFFEE MAKER I'VE OWNED (ESPECIALLY TASTE)

bymattd241 Feb 14, 2007

Pros GREAT BREW! No glass parts to be broken. Easy Clean-up. Dependable. Sturdy. Great design.
Cons Seeing dispensed amount can be difficult. Fill opening could be larger. Pricey.
Recommended it? Yes

I've owned this coffee maker for over 9 months now and it truly makes the best brew I've had from a drip coffee maker. Coffee never tastes burnt - even after reheating twice. I prefer espresso but, due to my work schedule, I can only enjoy that on my days off because of time restraints. For drip... Read full review »

Pros No Carafe to break. Great styling.
Cons Could use a light.

I don't think there is any kitchen appliance in existence that gets updated or replaced more frequently than the coffee maker. Whether it's because we've managed to kill one out of sheer over-use, or (in our case) we see a cool new unit that we just have to have.

For the past year or so,... Read full review »

Released From Our Prison of Pickiness By Thoughtful Friends

My husband and I did not own a coffee maker. Because he has a truly educated palate for coffee and I am a snob, we could not find a machine that suited us. The only options we considered viable were these:

Buy a 700... Read full review »

I went through several Mr. Coffee machines in a sixth month period (they all died) before buying my Starbucks Barista model four years ago. It still worked but a kitchen remodel gave me an excuse to go shopping for a unit with a stainless steel look. I had never considered an "on demand" coffee... Read full review »

No Glass pot is a plus!

Pros Looks nice, it's quiet and there's no glass pot.
Cons Other machines do the same for cheaper.

Since this coffee maker came out, I wanted it. But, without someone to tell me what they thought of it, I was in NO RUSH to purchase a $100 coffee maker. The day came recently that someone who owned this nice coffee maker raved to me about it.

First off, I had a nice coffee maker from... Read full review »

My favorite appliance is this Cuisinart machine!

Pros Quickly brewed, fresh tasting coffee that retains that ?just-brewed? taste for hours.
Cons Only a standard size coffee cup fits under the dispenser ? not a travel mug.

I have had this machine for over a year now, and have no complaints whatsoever! One day, my trusty machine just stopped working, sending me into a panic – I needed to get a new machine fast, but I was not willing to settle for anything less than the best (at a reasonable cost, of course). I wanted... Read full review »

I purchased the Cuisinart on demand 12c coffee maker based on the recommendation from the sales girl at the store. They used this model in order for customers to try the featured coffee. I really liked the idea of no pot. Although you still have to clean the coffee container on the inside. It... Read full review »

Doing battle from time to time with Rheumatoid arthritis, I much prefer the machines with no carafe, because a full carafe of coffee and arthritis can lead to disaster. I tried some of the other brands, and liked the performance, but they had a nasty habit of leaking after six months. I think the... Read full review »

I have been using the Cuisinart DCC-2000 twelve cup coffee maker for about six months now. It brews great coffee every time and there's no glass carafe to bother with.
