Pros Handheld design (I hate palm-sized devices), Study unit overall.
Cons Hard to see in bright environments, proprietary battery pack, not upgradable to...

Do you have messy handwriting like me? I absolutely cannot STAND palm devices in any way shape or form. Having the additional screen real estate and a keyboard are essential.

I've had my compaq for almost a year now and it is one of the best bargains I've ever gotten. I bought mine open box so I didn't pay the full retail of $600. The size makes it easy to carry along. Pros nice 256 color display
Cons slow, flimsy, poorly built, doesn't come with new Game X drivers.
Recommended it? Yes

Last year I bought myself a Compaq 2010C. It seemed to be the perfect thing for me; a great tool for taking notes and storing all the information I need to carry with me daily. However, trouble quickly followed.
